| Nuts and Volts Prop Shop creates custom and functional cosplay props. We specialize in Steampunk. We believe that quality made props for Copsplay theatre and film don’t have to cost an exuberant amount of money. We’ll spend the next 20 years building a steampunk robot to take over the world for $5 Million dollars or custom craft earrings for your next Cosplay for $5. If you can dream it, we can build it. About Us: Jonathan began fabricating theatrical props while in high school. Once in college, he studied sculpture, theatrical set design and special FX makeup. Jonathan’s first speciality piece, Black Betty, came into being after his girlfriend (and now wife, Jamie), suggested he take a swing at the Steampunk genre. Black Betty opened the door for the stunning and fully functional Steampunk Blunderbuss, lovingly named Doris. Footage of Doris in action has over 90,000 hits on YouTube, and has been featured on BoingBoing, Geekosystem, and Gizmodo.
